Chuck Roast

The centerpiece of the classic Sunday dinner, chuck pot roast is a beloved family tradition for two reasons: tremendous flavor and an unbeatable price.

Slow cook a good chuck roast in your oven, a crock pot, or a Dutch oven over a campfire until it's fork tender, and you have the stuff from which family memories are made. Coming from the heavily exercised (so more flavorful) shoulder muscles, this chuck roast has its bone left in for even more flavor.

If you are a renegade who must break with tradition, try smoking a big chuck roast just as you might a pork shoulder. Decidedly different and delicious!
